The Monty Anderson Construction Group is building a full scale home on site, directly on the floor of the convention center and you will be able to walk through it and see the various stages of construction. This house will have 6-inch thick solid concrete walls, is insulated to R30 and is able to withstand hurricane-force winds exceeding 225 mph. It is also Fire Wise and Green so we will be able to show you many features that make your home more energy efficient.

In a housing market where many builders are going under, Monty Anderson Construction Group has found a way to thrive with an innovative approach to home building. Thirty-two years in the business, owner Monty Anderson has the head for business and the heart for people. It’s a combination that has served his industry and clients well in these precarious times.

The idea of building a home can be overwhelming. Anderson has taken the question mark out of the fees with his ‘Cost plus Process’ program. The builder profit is simply a flat fee per square foot; period. No hidden costs. All of the materials are given to the clients for the builder’s cost. If the home owner wants to invest an additional $10,000 for better materials, all of the monies will go toward the betterment of the home and not to pad the pockets of the builder. Among the pet-friendly options growing in popularity are built-in cubby holes and feeding stations. Pet cubbies are open niche areas built beneath cabinets, vanities or window seats to give pets their own dens or napping spots.
